Volunteers and Needs

We are always in need of volunteers to open the book trailer or help run the monthly meetings.  Special events also require volunteers. If you are interested please contact us.   

Teens can earn community service hours for volunteering in the trailer or for babysitting.

In order to Consign books in our trailer, you must agree to volunteer at least 8 hours per calendar year. This can be broken into 2 dates. Two half days out of 365 is a small thing to ask to provide such rich resources for our fellow home schoolers as well as curriculum spending money for yourself.  We have training dates available this fall for learning how to run the trailer.  Please contact the volunteer coordinator at our yahoo groups to schedule your dates for both volunteering and training.

  • Portable heater- a/c unit
Skills needed:
  • Electrician to wire lighting and outlets
  • Welder to repair tractor trailer container and install RV door
  • Handyman type to help assemble and install industrial shelving
