We are an all volunteer organization, feeling called to encourage parents to home school their children and to assist home school families in providing excellence in their education. We are busy homeschooling parents ourselves and do this out of a conviction to pass it on.

We are committed to helping families comply with the Code of Maryland Regulations or COMAR and equally called in helping families realize their personal level of home school excellence.  We offer support and counseling and curriculum recommendations. 

HRG was started by Cornerstone Christian Academy (CCA). CCA is known as an umbrella school and is run by Cornerstone Evangelical Free Church (CEFC) of Pasadena, Maryland.  Arundel Homeschool Support Group has agreed to take over this sponsorship.  We are excited that this may facilitate great growth for both HRG and AHSG. Many of the same volunteers are involved in all three groups, which provides great continuity.

This ministry is run by a Christian organization and our mission is  to reach out to ALL peoples. 

You do NOT have to be a member of  AHSG to receive benefits from or attend the HRG ministry activities. Our focus is on outreach. However, if you have been helped by HRG, please consider contributing back to help the next person. We can only continue if we have enough volunteers to spread out the work involved.
